\n #Tier2 Travel Compliance\n\nCompliance deadline is 3pm CST on the Wednesday of the week before initial start date.\n\nFit testing: *Travelers must have facial hair that allows for proper testing or will be expected to shave. No exceptions\n\nSSN – required\n\nDOB – required\n\nRTO:\n\nRTO must be on the submittal and cannot be changed once the profile has been sent to the manager for review.\n\nNo RTO the first week of an assignment.\n\nAmount of RTO: please, no more than 7 days of RTO per 13 week contract, HIGHLY encouraged - (for Float pool, 7 days RTO max - hard rule)\n\nPlease ensure RTO on submission email and profile match\n\nBJC policy: Every other weekend required\n\nHoliday Policy: Any holiday time off is at the discretion of the Unit Manager and must be approved at the time of submittal.\n\n# of jobs in system we can sub\n\nPlease make sure to only submit to your TOP 3 within the BJC system. We will send to clinical to review and offer the best fit or recommend another option.\n\nPlease do not apply to jobs with identical titles. BJC lists each position as an individual job.\n\nRequires specific amount of exp (ex: 1 or 2 yrs required for submission) \n\nPlease see job description for specific job requirements as each unit varies \n\nPlease ensure correct skills checklist are completed at the time of submittal\n\nValid State License (required at time of submission) - Okay to submit without license in hand in Missouri, HOWEVER:\n\nIllinois is NOT a compact state! PLEASE NOTE: It is required to have license in hand at time of submission.\n\nMissouri requires a MO license or a compact license in their home state. Missouri will not issue a license to anyone with a license/residency in another compact state.\n\nMile Radius Rule Applies: No local candidates accepted within 75 mile radius. local travelers are no longer allowed, except for Patient Care Technicians, Certified Nurse Assistants, and Medical Assistants.\n\nReferences Required\n\nPlease see job description for specific job requirements as each unit varies.\n\nFor the most part, references preferred at time of submittal. Barnes-Jewish West County requires two supervisory references within the last two years at time of submittal.\n\nCandidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospitals near by \n\nPlease see job description for specific job requirements as each unit varies \n\nAll travelers will float within service line\n\nCopy of Certifications – not required at time of submittal\n\nSpecific Charting Exp Required (ex: epic experience required to submit) \n\nEPIC is the charting system throughout BJC system.\n\nEPIC experience required for certain units - Please see job description for specific job requirements as each unit varies \n\nBill rate (for hospitals that use bidding system) – N/A\n\nBackground Policy to be noted prior to submission (ex: won't accept any Background hits, will not accept DUIs, etc) \n\nNo medical marijuana cards accepted\n\nPlease note: Travelers who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do NOT hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe. \n\nReturn Staff Policy (ex: gone 1 yr or 6 months to return as traveler) –\n\nPermanent employees at must wait 1 year before returning to any BJC facility as a traveler.\n\nAll Standard Travelers (reside outside of a 75 mile radius) can stay for an 18 month period. Must take a 3 month break after 18 months.\n\nAllied and Non-Clinical: Travelers can stay for a period of 12 months. Must take a 6 month break in service after 12 months\n\nProfile - Please indicate if your clinician is interested in a longer travel contract than 13 weeks (13 week minimum). For applicable positions, please indicate if your clinician would prefer 36 or 48 hours per week\n\nModules:\n\nModules are billable up to 16 hours at $20/hr.\n\nModules are completed pre-start, the are required for RNs and LVNs and do not differ per specialty\n\nModules are completed through WorkRamp and uploaded to compliance report
